Our Ministries
Children’s Ministry
Proverbs 22:6 says to “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” The mission of Good Shepherd’s Children’s Ministries is to come along side and assist parents in this teaching and training. Our ultimate goal is to raise up disciples of Jesus Christ.
Sunday School runs from September through May weekly at 9:00 am.
Wednesday Kids Club for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade is held the 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm following our Family Meal.
Youth Ministry
Good Shepherd Youth Group is for students in 6th through 12th grade. We gather around the Word on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. In addition to growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ, we enjoy growing in our relationships with one another through activities and outings that promote the oneness and unity that Christ prays for concerning His Church.
During the school year, Middle School Youth Group (6-8) meet weekly at 6:00 pm, Senior High Youth Group (9-12) meet weekly at 7:00 pm, and Sunday School meets weekly at 9:00 am.

Confirmation
At Good Shepherd, it is our goal to teach Christian doctrine as found in the Bible and discussed in Luther’s Small Catechism. The confirmation program is a two year study of Law and Gospel, the 10 Commandments, the Apostles Creed, the Lord’s Prayer and the Sacraments of Baptism and Communion. Our prayer is that, as we study, students hearts are impacted with the truth of who God is and His plans for them.
The class meets in the Upper Room on Wednesday afternoons, September through May, from 3:45 – 5:15 pm.
Women’s Ministry
The Women’s Ministry at Good Shepherd gives many opportunities for women to grow in their faith through Bible studies, events, fellowship, and service.
Women of all ages meet for Ladies do Lunch every Thursday morning at 12:00 pm. This is a time of fellowship and encouragement and fun. All women are welcome! Contact the church office for this week’s lunch location.
Several Bible Studies are available during the week as well as Bible Study Fellowship which meets at Good Shepherd at 9:30 am every Tuesday. Contact the church office for more details.
Men’s Ministry
At Good Shepherd, our mission is that men of all ages are constantly growing in their faith and becoming the men of God that He desires them to be. Men are given opportunity to be fed through the Word of God and also to serve His Church through various ways.
Every Saturday at 8:30 am, the men of the Good Shepherd Church are invited to join together in the Fireside Room for Bible Study and Prayer.
Life Together Groups
We gather together as small groups to lead us into a deeper understanding of what it means to live life together as Christ’s Church by deepening our relationships with Christ and with each other. Contact the church office for more information.
Music Ministry
The subject of music in Scripture most often describes offering praise to God through singing or playing of instruments. The role of music at Good Shepherd Church directs its primary purpose to the same end – to honor and glorify our Lord God. We utilize a blended worship which honors the beauty and depth of traditional hymns and also lifts up the Name of the Lord through contemporary praise and worship songs.
